Hey Everybody, I just started working for my local National Broadcast affiliate and today they showed me the XDCAM gear they recently purchased. They have had trouble getting the PDW-D1 disc drive to talk to the MAC, let alone bring in footage to FCP. I quickly thumbed through the manual and it said to load the PC drivers. Well I said there is your problem this drive is not supported by MAC. They then said that the demo guys had it 'barely' working. Anyway does the PDW-D1 work with the MAC and FCPHD system, and if so how do I set it up so that they can use the disc drive and not the camera for digitizing, They bought the DVCAM version and not the 50MBPS version.
