Hey peeps, I have a user that is using a mac and is looking to store some info in a database format, that can be easily updated or deleted. I know only of MS Access that I have often used in windows only, just wondering if there is a very simple and user friendly software for MACs that I can show her how to use. Has to be a free software. Normally I would suggest Filemaker which is cross platform but its not free, other than that have a look here You mentioned MS Access which I am pretty sure comes with MS Office for Mac if she doesn't already have that. Hey winmacguy, I did some research and found a software called DataEagle, its a simple database program for Mac's. Just wondering if you have ever tried it.

Get him to download 4 free ones, there is bound to be one that suits him. And for the knife edge, most free mac software from what I have used is very good.
